From temperature fluctuations and flash floods to droughts and changing humidity, climate extremes are increasingly damaging monuments, archaeological sites and historic areas across Serbia. Protecting heritage therefore depends on data, local monitoring, new technologies and institutions capable of acting before damage becomes irreversible.
