Berina Škrijelj

Berina Škrijelj is a physician and resident in maxillofacial surgery whose work connects clinical medicine, education, youth engagement, and community work. She is particularly interested in patient dignity, equitable access to healthcare, medical ethics, and the ways communication and institutions shape the experience of care. Alongside medicine, she works with photography and visual storytelling as another way of understanding people, places, and social experiences.
