Note: The request should contain the name of the public authority, information identifying the applicant and a sufficiently precise description of the information requested. The applicant is not required to state the reason for requesting the information.
What is this for?
This document is used to exercise the right of access to information of public importance held by a public authority. It may be used to request information, access to a document, a copy of a document, or delivery of that copy.
Who can use it?
Any natural or legal person may use this request to obtain information of public importance from a public authority. The applicant does not need to prove a special legal interest or explain why the information is needed.
When should it be used?
It is used when the information you need is not publicly available or when you want to formally request information or a document held by a public authority. As a rule, the authority should act without delay and no later than 15 days after receiving the request.
